Celebrate Juneteenth and America’s 250th year at Pierce Chapel Methodist Church on June 19th, 2026, at 11:00am, hosted by the Hamilton Hood Foundation and part of Columbus, GA’s Juneteenth Jubilee.
This program is titled "Juneteenth and America's Living Heritage at 250". Where history comes alive through music, storytelling, reenactments, and community, celebrating the enduring spirit of freedom and the generations who continue to carry it forward.
The celebration will feature local artist storytelling, 9th and 10th cavalry Buffalo Soldiers, a community choir, and the local Family Search Center. Special guests include violinist Keldren Reddick and banjoist Lee Johnson.
